Replacement Glass Globe frosted glass globe with missing piece

The frosted glass globe was bumped and broken. A large piece of glass  broke off and was lost. I received the broken glass globe as a pattern to make the replacement globe. I filled in were the piece was missing so I could cast a mold.

The glass was frosted and drill after it was bent. It is a lot easier to make the mold if you have all the pieces.

CHANDELIER REPAIR RESTORATION PARTS

We need to make a couple of bobeches for a antique chandelier. The fist step is to make the crystal blanks.  We cast a mold of the old bobeche in high temp ceramic. We used that mold  to cast the class in to.

Broken Waterford Crystal Compote Repair

A large Waterford Crystal compote with the seahorse stem broke right below the bowl. Some of the glass stem was still attached to the bowl.  We ground and polished the bottom of the bowl removing the pieces of the broken stem.

TIFFANY VASE VERY SICK GLASS REPAIR

L C T signed and numbered  piece  was very sick (Louis Comfort Tiffany).  Years and years of use had deposited a coating on the inside of the vase.  The deposit was so thick it made the glass vase opaque. The worst  I have seen in forty two years of cleaning sick glass .  It was a beautiful vase and well worth the effort.

DAUM NANCY CHIPPED CRYSTAL VASE REPAIR

The crystal vase had two very large chips in the top. Grinding down the chips was an option but it would have looked very obvious . We made a replacement vase to attach to the old foot.

Then we remove what was left of the vase from the foot.

CARRIAGE CLOCK GLASS BEVELED CURVED BENT ANTIQUE

The antique carriage clock was damaged and need replacement curved beveled glass sides. Using the old chipped and broken glass we bent glass pieces to match the radius. The tolerance are very small so each piece is hand fitted.
