Cut Glass Compote Repair

Cut Glass Compote Repair

July 23rd, 2009 by Marc Konys - posted in All Repair Projects, Antique Glass Repair, Broken glassware, Glueings

The antique crystal compote was broken the foot and the bottom of the bowl. There were cracks on the bottom of the bowl were the foot had been attached.  I had to drill out the cracks to prevent them from cracking any further.  The bowl portion of the compote needed a new bottom so I could attach a new foot.
