Crystal Repair Remove Etching Remove Monogram

December 18th, 2008 by Marc Konys - posted in All Repair Projects, Waterford Crystal Repair

Over the years, I have removed a lot of monograms and inscriptions.   Sad but a good set of glasses need not be wasted . May they toast many good events to come!

Names and dates can be polished off glasses bowls plates and trophies .  So if you inherit a set of glasses, bowls, plates or trophies, I can easily remove the unwanted monogram from them.    Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all.  Thanks!

My grandmother has a set of Waterford Crystal glasses that have names monogrammed on them and she wants the names removed, could you do that for us? If so what would the cost be and could they be ready by Christmas? Thanks, Amy

Hello, I have a very heavy, 9″ Waterford vase with a rather lengthy inscription that I’d like to have removed. It this possible? Will the vase be returned to it’s pre-inscription smooth, clear polished glass condition? if so what is the cost and time frame for something like this?
    Thank you,
    Lorelei

I sent a pair of Waterford Glasses to Marc to have etching removed and spoke with him on the phone back early this year…
They took $130.00 out of my checking account and NEVER SENT ME MY GLASSES BACK! Won’t return my emails or phone calls.
    DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY

I have two toasting flutes that have engraving I’d like removed so I can one day give them to my daughter to use in her wedding. How much would that run? Also do you do metal engraving removal? I also have a serving set that match the flutes that need done.
