The glass cat  figurine had a broken ear. I removed the good ear and made two new ears.   No one will know the ears match and her husband can get out of the dog house.  Friends Romans lend me an ear.

Being able to make ears ,noses ,trunks, tails,and other parts gives me alot of options when restoring glass figurines. Under categories there is a heading call zoo it holds before and after picture of crystal animals I have repaired.

Swarovski crystal restoration

The Swarovski glass dog was missing a tail.  I made one and attached it.

Crystal Repair Broken Swarovski

Swarovski Crystal Elephant broken and missing tusk

The crystal elephant came  in broken and missing a tusk. Reattaching the tusk was the first step.  Them I made a new glass  part  for the Swarovski Elephant using the old glass tusk as a guide. Etching the new glass part to match the old was the final step in the glass restoration.

A Steuben crystal  quail came in with a broken  and missing  ” thing on its head”   I don’t know what to call it. So with a little research I found picture of a good one . I then made a new  wachama call it.

Crystal Repair Swarovski Whale

It’s hard to swim straight with no tail. This whale was in need of some saving.  It was a simple repair. Please view some of my other Swarovski repairs if you have a piece of crystal that needs to be rescued.

Repaired Fish now has a fin to stand on

I repair glass sculptures and I repair memories. Her grandfather was a glass blower and he made the fish back in the old counrty. The two bottom fins got broken . I have to remove what is left of the original fins and make new ones .Grind and polish the bottom of the fish first step. Next make two new fins that match color and size of the old ones. Attach the new fins and I’am done . That wasn’t so bad.

Steuben Crystal Dolphin Repair

Stueben Dolphin Missing Dorsal Fin.  We were able to fabricate a new fin from the remains of an old Steuben bowl.  Please see below for the repair gallery.
