Crystal Repair broken glass figurine
January 7th, 2010 Posted in All Repair Projects, Antique Glass Repair, Glueings, glass sculpture repairBroken in three pieces and a failed attemp to glue together with silicone is how it came to me. Crystal repair is a lot harder after you get sililone adhesive all over the pieces and sililone adhesive is the worst to get off. There are no solvents to remove it . All you can do is scrap. The antique glass “China Man” is not a valuable glass figurine but holds a memory.

Over the last thirty years of repairing crystal I know I been able to get more than one guy out of the dog house.
