January 10th, 2010 Posted in All Repair Projects, Antique Glass Repair, GlueingsAntique glass repair is made a lot harder when like this piece because they tried to glue it them selves. They used a silicone glue and there are no known solvents for it . It took a lot of rubbing and scraping to remove the silicone. Then we were able to repair it.
